Show Respect Toward One AnotherThe Bible teaches men to show respect and courtesy toward one another, but some people don’t (Luke 6:31; Romans 13:10; 12:10, 17-18; Philippians 2:3-5; 2 Corinthians 8:21; 1 Thessalonians 5:15; Galatians 6:2, 10). I know that according to the law, streets are public and open for parking wherever the right permits. However, during this harsh snowy season, I ask, “Where is the courtesy?” “Where is respect?” A person digs his car out of the snow and places a chair in the spot so that he can go to the store, only to return to see that someone has removed it and parked in the spot which he labored to dig out. I ask, “Where is the respect?” Tolerance should reign supreme during these wintery weeks. Let the guy claim the spot he dug out! Why disrespect him by taking a parking place you didn’t dig out? Why not dig out your own spot? Think about what I say because there has been shootings and fights over parking places, and we must show better behavior. Let’s show love, respect, courtesy, and tolerance during this cold season. Hope to hear from you or see you at the services. ( categories: Words of the Week )
