by James Baker Believe it or not, ready or not; Jesus Christ is coming and it won?t be to have coffee. He is returning to end the world and to judge men for their deeds. Acts 1:11. Acts 17:30-31. Rev 1:7. Jude 14-15.
Jesus will shock the world with a powerful trumpet blast that will be heard around the world. 1 Thess 4:16. Matt 24:30-31. 1 Cor 15:52. Have you ever jumped because you heard a loud clap of thunder? Pretty shocking isn?t it? The last trumpet will be worse because it will be heard globally; while thunder is only heard in the area where the storm is. It won?t be a nice time for those who aren?t prepared to meet Him, for the plans of men will be interrupted and surprised people will be looking out windows crying out, ?what in the world is going on?? 1 Thess 5:1-10. 2 Thess 1:7-10. Some evil men might consider committing suicide on the Judgment Day with the hope that they can escape standing before Jesus to be judged. Rom 14:12. 2 Cor 5:10. But to no avail; death will be no more! 1 Cor 15:24-26:55 All this will happen in one day; after the trumpet blows and men see Jesus descending from the heavens with His mighty angels. Within one hour, there will also be a resurrection of the dead. The righteous dead will rise first, followed by the wicked and the bodies of the living saints will be changed into something new, like the Lord?s body within the in the twinkling of an eye. 1 Cor 15:50-55. Phil 3:20-21. John 5:28-29. On that great day, Jesus will gather all that ever lived before his throne and place them into two groups, sheep on the right, goats on the left and He will judge them according to their works. After judging the Lord will send some to hell and the others to heaven. Matthew 25:34-46. And let us not forget about Satan because the Lord has his number. After spending centuries deceiving mankind, the devil will finally get his own slice of the pie. He will be casted into the lake of fire and brimstone and will be tormented forever with the people he deceived. Rev 20:10. The earth along with the works on it will be destroyed by fire and the eternal home of the righteous will be a new heaven and a new earth. 2 Pt 3:1-14. John 14:1-3. There is no way that anyone will be able to escape this day. Whenever, I see someone commit suicide to escape the police, I say to myself; 'oh no, another victim of Satan!" Death of the body doesn?t end it, instead it seals ones fate. Matt 10:28. The only way to stand in that day, is to obey the gospel of Jesus Christ, because it is the power of God unto salvation. Rom 1:16. And without obedience, man will face the wrath of God! 2 Cor 5:11. Comments are closed.
