When Jesus spoke the words of Matt 10:39, "he that loses his life for my sake shall find it," he wasn't speaking of a person who overpowers a pilot, then flies the aircraft into a building killing thousands of people. Jesus was speaking of a person who decides to suffer the fate of death rather than deny his Lord (Acts 21:13). Such a person doesn't commit evil acts beforehand, nor does he drag others to their deaths with him. He goes to his death because he knows that some things are worth dying for and that denying the Lord certainly isn't something worth living for. Acts 5:41, Heb 10:34, Phil. 1:21-23, Acts 7:59-60, Acts 12:1-4, Acts 11:35-40, Rev. 6:9-11, Rev. 20:4, Psa. 115:15.
No one should read Matt. 10:39, and think that God is sanctioning the evil acts of September 11th. The men who committed those wicked acts were guided by teachers of Satan, and these fellows died in their sins. Satan has their souls for all eternity John 8:21, Luke 16:19-31, Isa. 57:21. These young men wasted their lives listening to false teachers instructing their minds with garbage and now they will stand condemned before Almighty God on the Judgment Day, as they will give account for the deeds of Sept. 11, 2001. 2 Cor. 5:10-11, Eccl. 12:14, Rom. 14:10-12, Heb 4:13, Prov. 15:3 I don't know about you, but I sure wouldn't want to be one of those guys, because their ball game is over and their goose is cooked Heb. 10:30-31.
