Weekly Words of Instruction

The young people of today are supposed to be our future. What tomorrow will look like, will be contingent upon what young people are being taught today. Since so many parents have failed to introduce their children to God, we realized that the only way some young people will learn about God is through those outside their family. What a shame! The home is where young people are supposed to be introduced to God (Deuteronomy 6:6-9). With that being the case, we hope that some young person gets this material and will think about what is being said and act upon it.

1. Every young person must realize God exists (Jeremiah 23:23-24, Psalm 14:1).
2. Every young person must realize God is good, perfect, and Spirit (Nahum 1:7).
3. Every young person must realize they should learn about God now (Ecclesiastes 12:1).
4. Every young person must realize God loves and has interest in them (John 3:16).
5. Every young person must realize they will answer to God for deeds (Ecclesiastes 12:14).
6. Every young person should read the book of Proverbs in the Bible.
7. Every young person must realize that obeying parents is right (Ephesians 6:1-4).
8. Every young person must realize that going to church is important (Acts 20:7).
9. Every young person who read this should contact the Mt. Airy church of Christ.

Young people, there is a God, and you need to learn of Him. The things you learn about Him will help you live better and avoid some of the potholes of life.
