This is only for people who believe the Bible to be God's word.
Consider these interesting things that the Bible teaches about sin. Sin is the violation of God's law (1 John 3:4). There is no little sin or big sin because all sin is equal and will condemn man (1 John 5:17). Everyone has sinned (Romans 5:12). Sin separates man from God (Isaiah 59:1–2). Man shouldn't give in to sin (Rom. 6:13). God refuses to listen to the prayers of those who continue to sin (John 9:31). A person cannot hide his sin for it will find him out (Numbers 32:23). If a man refuses to forgive others for their sins, then God will not forgive him (Mark 11:25–26). Those who die without God's forgiveness of their sins will go to Hell (John 8:21).
Jesus came to this earth and died so that all men can have salvation from their sins (1 Corinthians 15:3). Baptism is for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38). In baptism one's sins are washed away (Acts 22:16). If one confesses and forsakes sin, he can have mercy (Proverbs 28:13). God hates sin (Proverbs 6:16–19). Sin is worse than AIDS, cancer, and Alzheimer's combined; for those can only kill the body, while sin condemns the soul forever (Galatians 5:19–21).
