This is only for people who believe the Bible to be God's word.
It has been said, "Give me my flowers while I'm alive, so I can see and smell them." And that is a true statement. Allow me to ask: Do you greet your neighbor? Are you on good terms with your neighbor? Do you even know the name of your neighbor? If one isn't friendly with his neighbor; why go to the funeral when he is dead? Why sit in a funeral chapel pretending to care for someone that you didn't even speak to? Now some will say. "I'm here to support the family." How can that be? The actions of being unfriendly toward the deceased would be unacceptable by the family. For example, are you going to tell the family how you ignored the person when he said hello?
We must stop being mean to others. We must do good to people. We must help the needy. We must greet our neighbors and others. We must love our fellow man. For life is too short and Judgment from God is certain. And none of us have the time to be acting like fools (Psalm 144:4; Ephesians 5:15; Acts 17:30-32; Hebrews 9:27; Ecclesiastes 12:14; Matthew 25:31-33).
Hope to hear from you or see you at the services.
