Now the serpent was more cunning than any animal of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God really said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” 2 The woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; 3 but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.’” 4 The serpent said to the woman, “You certainly will not die!5 For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will [a]become like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate; and she also gave some to her husband with her, and he ate. Gen 3.1-6
Did you see the word “apple”? Read it again and I ask did you see the word “apple”? The answer is no, you didn’t. This is a good example of man adding to the word of the Lord. Truth is, we don’t know what kind of produce came from the tree. But we do know that both Adam and Eve, ate it. That information should be good enough for anybody.

There is a classic line in the movie ‘JAWS” The captain said, “we going to need a bigger boat”. In other words, the boat we have; isn’t going to get the job done.
My point is this. We are living in the times of gay marriage and I want to target religious leaders and officials, who preside over those so-called weddings; holding a bible. Rather than hold a bible, officials should be holding another book, because the bible doesn’t give permission to get that job done. My question to them is the same as the actor, Jimmy Stewart, said in one of his movies. “but have you read it?” Have they read in the bible where two people of the same sex, were commission by God to marry? Where has the bible ever gave information endorsing same sex marriages? If so, where is the bible authority? Don’t talk to me about love; but yes, the bible teaches the virtue love. But where does it teach that love manifests itself in same sex relationships? We all have to love, but we cannot love that which God hasn’t ordained, nor should love be placed where it ought not be. Pro 7.18-21. 1 King 11.1-4. Psa 4.2. Psa 52.3. Pro 1.22. Prov 20.13. Prov 21.17 Zech 8.17. Lk 11.43. John 3.19 John 12.42-43. 2 Tim 4.10. 1 Tim 6.10. 1 John 2.15. 2 Tim 3.4. Matt 10.37. Reader, can you give the scripture for same sex marriage? It is no mistake that the bible is the worlds best seller. It is no mistake, that even those who ridicule the bible, end up endorsing its principles as the way to go in everyday life. It is no mistake, that others were so in awe of the beauty of its message, that they decided to write their own bible or put out their own so called inspired writings.
I speak of Muhammad and the Koran, Joseph Smith and the book of Mormon. Ellen G White and her seventh day Adventist notes; along with Mary Baker Eddy and her words of the Christian science church. The ideal that God gives a message to man about salvation is the ultimate gift and many writers want it on that idea. Who knows, who will be the next person coming along claiming a revelation from God and a new bible? Readers, mankind is really a piece of work. Take some and study these scriptures; you will be glad that you did. Gal 1.6-9. 2 John 5-11. Deut 28.14. 1 Pt 1.22-25. James 1.25. Heb 13.20-21. 2 Tim 3.14-17 Recently a lady saw her neighbor house on fire and frantically knocked on the door awaking them from sleep and saving lives. This was a heroic act by her; she knew those people weren’t aware of the danger near them, and she sounded out the warning.
This is like a teacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ; warning people to repent and get their lives right in the sight of God. People all over the globe, are sleep in sin and cannot see the danger of hell fire creeping upon them, because Satan has blinded their eyes to slumber. Eph 5. 13-14. 2 Cor 4. 1-5. Rom 13.11. 1 Thess 5.4-8. The person attempting to introduce the gospel to you, means no harm. They want to warn you. They are following the wishes of the Lord, who also wants to warn you. The fire of hell is coming. Heb 9.27. Won’t you give the gospel a chance? When Moses told the Israelites this, they were very sad. Early the next morning the people started to go up to the high hill country. They said, “We have sinned. We are sorry that we did not trust the Lord. We will go to the place that the Lord said.
But Moses said, “Why are you not obeying the Lord’s command? You will not be successful! Don’t go into that land. The Lord is not with you, so your enemies will easily defeat you. The Amalekites and Canaanites will fight against you there. You have turned away from the Lord, so he will not be with you when you fight them. And you will all be killed in battle. But the people did not believe Moses. They went toward the high hill country. But Moses and the Ark of the Lord did not go. Then Amalekites and the Canaanites living in the hill country came down and attacked the Israelites and easily defeated them and chased them all the way to the place called Hormah. Num 15.39-45. This reminds me of people being told because of covid, not to gather and travel and they still gather and travel. Afterwards, suffering begins. If people are being told the truth about covid, it is wrong for them not to obey the warnings. On the other hand, if warnings about covid are lies, this story doesn’t apply and those who congregate and travel, have nothing to worry about. You have a brain, go figure. |
