What a Year

12/27/2021

This past year has shown just how evil man can be.   Just look at the  amazing increase in murders though out American cities.  Life in the eyes  of many people is cheap and just like stepping on a bug.  People will kill over here, they will rape over there and steal down the road.  God sent the flood upon the earth;  He observed the evil which men were doing and it sadden Him. Gen 6:5-7.    The evil of man still  sickens the Creator, and just because it may seem He isn’t around, you can be sure He is. Pro 15:3.

We now have been blessed to enter a new year and there is no magic stick to wave and make evil go away.  Evil is stopped when a person comes to his senses and realizes that a sinful life isn’t right.  Luke 13:3.  Luke 15:17-19. Acts 2:28.   We invite you to study the Bible with us and learn how to change a sinful life into one which pleases God.   The way of God isn’t popular, but it makes life better. John 14:6.  Matt 24:35.  1 Cor 6:9-11.

Jolly Good Time of the Year

We are now in what is called the holiday season.  Over the past weeks many have enjoyed very good meals and happy times with family and friends.  It is amazing how man can practice kindness and sharing during the holiday season and such is credit to the human race.    But it would be better for us all if this conduct existed though out the year.  Kindness doesn’t cost us anything and it certainly creates the character that God intended for man to display.  So why not give the virtue of
kindness a try?  Just think for a moment; if we had more kindness, there wouldn’t be all the problems that are hurting us.  Heb 13:1-3.  Col 3:12. Gal 6:10. Rom 12:17-18.   Matt 7:12.

Being Recorded

12/13/2021

The “late” colonel Sanders, (Founder of KFC)  said he use to curse regularly. All kinds of profane words would come out of his mouth and he didn’t have to be angry to speak in such a manner.    But change came when he read in the bible that man was going to take responsibility for every careless
word on Judgment Day. Matt 12:36-38.  2 Cor 5:10.  Heb 4:13.  Eccl 12:14.    The colonel did the right thing and repented, saving himself from answering for the use of his own tongue in his remaining years..  Jas 3:1-10.

But what about you?  How many profane words have you used today?

Are you a “F” bomb user? Do you say the “S” word when something doesn’t go your way? What about the awful, despicable. “mother……?” And lest we forget, the blasphemous  “ God….”

People fail to realize that God is watching and recording everything done on earth and will replay for all to see at the Judgment.  1 Cor 3:13.

It is time for everyone to look at themselves because one day, we will answer to God.    What will your answer be?   Matt 25:41.

Jittery Nerves

We can get rid of stress by saying no to projects that are too much for us. We must realize that our stress level shoots though the roof, when allowing others to overload us.  People cannot know our limitations, so don't let them be our Judges. Make sure that relaxing time is left for self and
above all things, learn to trust in God.  Matt 6:25-34.  Luke 10:38-42. Phil 4:6.  Eph 5:15-16.
