When concerning churches, you will have to watch out for man-made doctrine. Matt 7.15. Mark 7.7. Rom 10.1-2. Romans 10.1-3 This kind of dogma is not from God, and it can rob you of liberties which are yours to keep and will condemn your soul. 2 Peter 2.1-2. Matt 15.13-14.
The only defense one can have against false doctrine, is the knowledge of the word of God which can be learned by private study Acts 17.11. Rev 2.2. Jesus said all should be students of the word to be confident they are hearing truth. John 5.39 John 8.31-32. Many people praise churches, unaware that they are rejoicing in division. However, the bible teaches that there is to be no division. 1 Cor 1.10. That all men should teach the small doctrine and if men would speak where the bible speaks and remain silent where the bible is silent, such could be the case. 1 Tim 1.3 1 Tim 4.16. 1 Tim 6.3. 2 Tim 1.13. We cannot worship God as we please, we must worship God in spirit and in truth. John 4.24. Demand book, chapter, and verse for practices which you might hear in your church. Ask, where was this belief ever done in scripture?

A teacher was assaulted at a high school by two students after he confiscated a cell phone from them during class. There are two evils seen here. First, “disregard for law and class room.”
The school had rules about phones. But these young men chose not to listen. Pro 1:7. A class is a place for learning and not for gadget tinkering. Acts 21:40. Acts 22:1-2. Jesus Christ taught many classes. Matt 26:55. John 8:2 Luke 5:1-3:17. And though He had interruptions (Matt 21:23, Luke 10:40-42, Luke 12:13-14, Luke 11:27-28), He still realized the importance of paying attention. Matt 11:15, Luke 10:39, Luke 11:1-2, John 6:45. Next, “Disrespect for their teachers.” They attacked a man who was trying to do them good! Why couldn’t they have gone before the school board and argued their case? Why act like two jackals and attack this poor man? They also could have apologized and promise not to do it again and might have gotten the phone back. Pro 15:1. Pro 25:11. Pro 30:33. I sure hope the other students will learn not to deal with matters as these two did. Pro 4:14 Living a holy life is indeed the way to go. First reason, we reap what we sow. Gal 6.7-8.
If we live an immoral life full of debauchery, we will reap the same in return. In Proverbs 7.6-27. We read of a man going into the home of a very perverted woman. The dangers that victim faced are clearly expressed in Proverbs 5.3-23. Proverbs 6.24-35. Disease, revenge from a husband wrath, shame, going through all the stress that one does, when trying to achieved that which can never be. etc. Proverbs 1.33 teaches that all who listen to the truth of God word, will live life in peace and be free from the worries of evil. GAMBLING AND THE LOVE OF MONEY
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1Tim 6:9-10. He that is greedy of gain troubles his own house; but he that hates bribes shall live. Pro 15:27 IF YOU SEE GAMBLING, YOU WILL SEE THESE TOO *GRIEF. *LOSS OF PAYCHECK *GREED *ADDICTION *PAWN SHOPS *DIVORCE AND BROKEN HOMES *I’M GONNA TAKE YOUR MONEY *CRIME *DRINKING |
