1 John 2:21-23. “I have not written unto you because you know not the truth, but because you
o know it and that there’s no lie in the truth. Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son. Whosoever denies the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledges the Son hath the Father also.” There is no way around it, if man throws Jesus under the bus or demotes him to a good teacher, a great guy, a prophet, or something other then God; this verse tell us what such are people are. We must give Jesus His due and that is, He is the Christ, the Messiah and Savior of all men! Matt 16:13-17. John 6:66-69. John 20:30-31.

I was listening as people were complaining this week about some very troubling news stories. Presidential candidate, Donald J Trump, almost shot and killed. Veteran actor James Earl Jones dead. Singer musician of the famous Jackson five group, Tito Jackson dead at age 70. Another singer of the R&B group Maze, Frankie Beverly, dead at 77. People are upset and they are complaining, but here's what we got to keep in mind. There's nothing in this life that is permanent. That is why obeying the gospel and serving Jesus Christ is in everyone's best interest. People are going to leave this life and stand before God and He doesn't care if you're an actor or politician, musician. What He cares about is, did you obey the gospel? if you obey the gospel and live faithful unto death, He will save you from the fire of Hell. 1 Corinthians 15.1-2.If you don’t, you will be cast into the fires of Hell. 2 Thessalonians 1.6-10.
No Christian has the answer to every question. But the bible has the answer to every question.
2 Peter 1.3. You might ask Christians a question and they might not be able to give you an answer. Don’t be alarmed, the disciples of Jesus couldn’t answer many who inquired of them. Mark 9.14-29. Be assured that every Christian inspires to be able to give answers to all who inquire of the hope that is in them. 1 Peter 3.15. The Bible contains so much information and it will take much study for the Christian to discuss every question. John 5:39. Acts 17.11 But, they are striving to do just that. And if one Christian cannot give answers, another one can. Acts 15.1-2. Being a Christian is like saving for a rainy day. You know that sooner or later you will need it and by having it, you save yourself tons of grief. Death and Judgment for man is certain; all will give account for their existence, so one must have Christianity to be able to stand. 2 Cor 5:10. Acts 4.12.
Since Christians recognize they will stand before God, it drives them to make the most of their time on earth. It drives them to persevere and overcome challenges. It drives them to pray fervently to God for everyday help and strength. It drives them to educate themselves in the scriptures so that they will know what God expects from them. Christians spend a great deal of time with other Christians and miss them greatly when they aren’t around. This is so, because every time Christians are with ungodly people it isn’t inspiring for them. Christians want to be around others who are going to heaven and can also help them go to as well. Sort of like the saying, “birds of a feather, stick together”. I’m sure you get what I mean. To all Christians, keep up the good work. When you stand before God on Judgment Day, you will see that all the hardship you endured on earth was well worth it, because you didn’t fail your faith.
Jesus Christ, the Apostles and some Christians, had miraculous powers by which they healed sickness and injuries. They picked up snakes, struck men dead, blind, cast out demons, and healed with handkerchiefs and their shadows. Matt 8:1-17. Matt 9:1-35. Matt 12:9-13. Matt 14:15-36. Matt 15:21-39. Mk 16:17-18. Acts 2:43-44. Acts 3:1-16. Acts 4:7-22. Acts 5:1-16. Acts 6:8. Acts 7:55-56. Acts 8:5-25. Acts 9:6-43. Acts 13:9-12. Acts 14:8-12. Acts 16:16-18. Acts 19:11-12. Acts 20:9-12. Acts 28:1-10. Ever wonder why you don't see such from people who claim to have the power of the Holy Spirit? Ever wonder why these people never go in a hospital to heal, or graveyard to raise the dead? Ever wonder why neighbors who live next door to such people, don't even know they claim Holy Spirit power? And that’s because these lying people know they can’t heal. Rev 2:2. That’s right! They can’t heal a broken hair on a dog’s tail! If a person has the power of the Holy Spirit, he will be busy using that power and everyone would know about it. People suffering from gunshot wounds, car accidents, stabbing, etc, would all be healed. 1 Cor 2:4. |
