Some aren’t sure if God exists or who He is. I want to press their minds with some thoughts if I may. First, this world is just too well set in motion to be simply here by chance. For example, can a toothpick just come from nothing? Can a clock come from nothing? Can a jar of jelly just appear and have no creator?
Now if you believe this world came from nothing, you must also believe these inferior things also came from nothing. And if not, why not? Design is the strongest evidence of a creator. When design is present and when things function or perform with accuracy, one can be sure of a creator. Just think about the engine of a car. God is introduced to man through the Bible, and by simply considering the earth and heavens which are the works of His hands. Rom 1:19-20. Psa 19:1-6. Psa 97:1-12. There are many great works of art, buildings, sport teams, movies, etc. These all have one thing in common; a creator.

In 2 Timothy 3:4 the Bible teaches that mankind will be lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. That means men will be more interested in enjoying life than the things of God.
I have always been fascinated about people packing into outdoor football stadiums when the weather is very cold. It could be snow, it could be rain, people will still be there to see the game. I really wish man had more love for the things of God. By coming to church, they won’t have to sit in bad weather as they learn about saving their souls. But Abraham said, “Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime received thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.” Luke 16:25
Talk about the tables being turned; such was the case between the millionaire and the poor beggar Lazarus in the afterlife. Which do you think is better? To live well and do it your way and be comfortable in this life? Or live the way God would have you to live and be in comfort after death? Man will have to face this fact. We live this life and after death, its time to pay up. Heb 9;27. Job 30.23 When a person stands before God to be judged, the Lord is going to be asking questions. Keep in mind that the person cannot lie to God, because God knows everything. The person standing before God will be fully aware that he will be attempting to save his soul from the burning hell or getting his soul into the everlasting paradise of heaven. What answer will one give when God questions them about why they used profane language? What answer will a person give if God asks about cheating? What answer will one give about not being interested in church or Bible reading? In the end, all will stand and give account for behavior while in this life. No one will escape that date. What answer will you give? 2 Cor 5.10. Matt 16.27. Matt 12.36-37. Jer 17.10. Heb 4.13. Eccl 12.13. 1 Cor 4.5
