In 1 Corinthians 4.6, the Bible teaches we shouldn’t think of men beyond what the Bible reveals. In other words, don't make men out to be something that they aren’t.
A good example can be found in Acts 12. 21-23, where we see Herod dressed in his fancy clothes and giving a speech so inspiring; that people said “this isn’t the voice of a man, but a god!” Because the people said that, the Lord got angry and struck Herod in the presence of everyone. The man was eaten by parasites and died. God did that to show people not to place men in God mode. I see this happening today in politics. People will back a candidate and they will obey whatever he says. They will defend him in whatever he does; and never say he is wrong. The people become everlasting “yes men”. And even after seeing outlandish condemning behavior form the politician. This is absurd! It’s a crying shame! Politicians are men who do wrong. They are also men who do right. We need to condemn politicians when wrong and we need to praise them when right.
