We serve the Lord and we enjoy serving Him.  We serve the Lord so we can be right in His sight.  When He judges us at the end of this life; He will look at our service and like how we remained faithful and then He will allow us to enter heaven. Matt 7.21

The people who will be in hell are people who did not serve the Lord. They lived the way they wanted to and didn’t concern themselves with the commandments of God.
We want to warn everybody what's going to happen if they do not change. Luke 13.3

Serving the Lord is not a terrible thing. Why wouldn’t you not want your Creator to be happy with how you live on the earth?   By being His servant, you not only have a relationship with Him, but you're able to receive blessings from His mighty hand.

There's just no other way to live this life, for on that day, Jesus will say
“well done good and faithful servant enter into the joy of thy Lord”.  Matt 25.21-23

This was the Apostle Peter in the first sermon preached on the Jewish day of Pentecost. Matt 16:18-19. Acts 2:1:14.

Peter establishes several points: King David had a grave site, but there is no grave site for Christ. Acts 2:29. The reason is Jesus rose from the dead.  Acts 2:32.
Luke 24:1-8.   King David and all the other dead people decomposed became skeletons in their graves; but the body of Christ never decomposed. Acts 2:31. John 20:26-31.

Today Jesus sits at the right hand of God, and He will be the Judge of men on the final day.  Acts 7:55-60. Heb 4:14-15.  Acts 2:33. Acts 5:30-31.   I Pet 3;22.
Acts 17:31. John 5:22-23.  Peter also said that he and others saw the risen Christ and can testify that he rose from the dead. 1 John 1:1 John 20:19.

You cannot go wrong with Christ, for He is the Way, the Truth and the Light.  John 14:6. Acts 4:12.  John 10:7-9.  John 6:35:48:51.

The bible is indeed a very old book. It is old fashion and out of date with what people are doing today.  Yes, that we will admit because people today are a law unto themselves, they do what they want.  Judges 21.25 We don’t agree with how people live because most people aren’t living according to the instructions taught in the bible.  But the Lord has left it up to every person to make their own decision as to how they will live.  Thing is, in the end the bible will be the standard by which men will be judged. Rev 20.12.   The lives of men will be examined to see if their deeds match what is taught in the scripture.  And if that isn’t the case, those souls will be casted into hell.  Rev 20.13-15. Now a person may laugh at this, but it is the truth. The bible may be old, but it is the word of God and that word is eternal and will be here when the earth is gone.  Matt 24.35.  Psa 119.89.152. 1 Peter 1.22-25. So, the best thing for anyone is to forget how old the bible is and just obey it and save your soul.  Matt 7.21-27. We won’t make heaven by doing what we want.  We must do what God wants.

Many say, “I forgive, but I don’t forget”.  Well, this so-called forgiveness isn’t of any profit to anyone, and it’s certainly not the way the Lord does when He forgives.  God is willing to forgive anyone who will repent and ask His forgiveness. Isa 1:10-20. Acts 2:38. After that, God doesn’t keep the sin of man still on the books and neither will He bring it up again in the future.   When God forgives, He forgets, and so should men. Heb 10:17.

Yet, we still see those who hold grudges and refuse to give second chances to those who seek forgiveness.   None can be forgiven of their trespasses, if they refuse the same courtesy to others. Matt 6:12. Matt 18:21-35. Jas 2:13. Eph 4:31-32.   We best get rid of all those grudges and start forgiving, because the mercy we refuse to show today, will be denied us. Gal 6:7. Pro 11:5.
Num 32:23.  Pro 26:27.  Dan 6:24.

What did you do Sunday morning? I got up at 8:00 am, made myself ready to go to bible class at 10:15 am; and then I participated in the worship at 11:15 am. I know that Sunday I should be at church worshipping the Lord. God has given man 6 days to do whatever and God only wants man to worship him on the first day of the week.  I feel very good that I obeyed the Lord. So, what did you do Sunday? Did you do something that you wanted to do? Did you do something that others wanted you to do?  Did you have the Lord on your mind at all when you got up Sunday?

I'm giving you a scripture, Acts 20.7 upon the first day of the week, which is Sunday; the disciples came together to break bread which is the Lord's communion and Paul preached unto them.

You need to think about that because Sunday is the Lord’s Day.
