Those who involve themselves in affairs with another's spouse, lacks understanding and is destroying their own soul (Proverbs 6:32). The marriage bond is a holy union joined by God, and those who tarnish that bond by becoming intimate with the spouse of another, are sinning not only against self, and the person's spouse, but they are also sinning against God (Genesis 39:7-10, Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:18, Matthew 19:6).

The best thing to do is never get involved in an affair; for no affair is worth spending eternity in a burning hell, and that is sure where one will go if repentance isn't done (1 Cor. 6:9-10). Besides, chances are the person won't leave their marriage, and even if they did leave their marriage, the law of God won't permit one to marry the spouse of another (Matt. 14:4, 1 Cor. 5:1, Romans 7:1-4, Matt. 19:9). So it's a losing proposition.

If one is having an affair with the spouse of another, you need to stop it, and stop it now. You are involved in a terrible thing, and you need to do the right thing. Someone else's spouse is not your spouse, and can never be your spouse, so leave them alone and find someone who is eligible to be with you. And we do mean someone God would be happy to see you with (Prov 18:22).

"Well done thou good and faithful servant; thou has been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things; enter thou into the joy of thy Lord," Matthew 25:21-23 (KJV).

These words which will be spoken to the saved on the Judgment Day are the most wonderful words any man can expect to hear. As we take a closer look at these words which will come forth from the mouth of Christ, we see that the words speak of a person who was true at all times to his God. He was faithful when things were good, and he was faithful even when things went bad. His faithfulness impressed the Creator, and God will remember him for it. Also we see that the person proved himself worthy of entrance into heaven by mastering small things; a person can not make it to heaven by doing nothing, one must obey God, which proves one ready for the next big thing, heaven! Let this warning stand true, if a man can not serve God in this life, he sure won't see God's face in peace in the next life.

"Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, or as His counselor has informed Him? With whom did he consult and who gave Him understanding? And who taught Him in the path of justice and taught Him knowledge, and informed Him of the way of understanding?" Isaiah 40:13-14.

Then the Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him," Genesis 2:18.

The family has been defined and given to man by Almighty God. God in his infallible wisdom has created two sexes, one male, the other female, in order to serve as companion for life (Matthew 19:4; Proverbs 18:22; 1 Corinithians 11:3, 8-9; Romans 7:1-3). This selection works perfectly, and such is so becuase God ordained it (Prov. 18:22). And what God has joined together, let no person pull apart or try to improve upon by substituting something else (Matt. 19:6, Prov. 30:5, 1 Timothy 6:3-4).

The Bible teaches that the money of the church is reserved for the needs of poor saints (Acts 4:34-37, Acts 2:45, 1 Timothy 5:16, 1 Corinthians 16:1-2). No one should look upon the church as a place where they can go and get money. The church isn't a bank or a welfare agency. Many people think that they can call the church and make any kind of request, and get that request fulfilled.

It is very appalling that people have the gall to look in the phone book and call up a church they know nothing about and ask for money. Just where is it written that the church is the provider of the world's financial woes? If a person needs money they should ask relatives and friends who know them or start being wiser with their spending. While it is true that Christians are giving people, one shouldn't take them for fools; for no Christian is supposed to give his money out to any person or con man asking for it (Matthew 10:16, 2 Thessalonians 3:10, Proverbs 19:15).

What a summer we had this year! So many people got bitten by sharks last year that we called the summer of 2001, "the summer of the shark." Well, this year we saw a lot of evil toward children. I suppose we could have labeled the summer of 2002, "the summer of child abuse." Just consider these repeated evils that continue to go on and on.

A person claims to forget to take the baby out of the hot car (I find that hard to believe). Are people that occupied in thought that they cannot remember that a child is in the car? A baby won't stop crying so the sitter shakes him to death or beats the child up and then tells the authorities the child fell down, and the police are suppose to believe that? A sex pervert looks upon a child with the interest of sexually molesting and killing the youngster (How stupid and depraved can a person be?). Now you may gasp and cringe upon hearing all this and such response is justified because these deeds are appalling.

However, if you use profanity, smoke, drink, gamble, or do other kinds of evil in the presence of your child or other children, you are doing the wrong thing as well. All these things are evil and anyone doing such is sinning (1 John 3:1, 1 John 5:17).

I'm calling upon all people who abuse a child to repent. If you have done evil worthy of jail, turn yourself in and pay the price, hopefully you will be a better person when you come out. If you haven'tdone evil worthy of jail time, just quit the evil and start doing the right thing (Acts 3:19).
