What Is A Woman's Glory?

5/28/2006

This is only for people who believe the Bible to be God's word.
In 1 Corinthians 11:15 we learn that the long hair of a woman is given as her glory. Some preachers teach that it is a sin for a woman to cut her hair, but that isn't what the Bible said. A woman is free to cut her hair and fix it up as she chooses. The only thing she shouldn't do is cut and fix it in such a way that the glory departs.
Now one may wonder, "how is that possible?" Well, the best way I can explain it is like this—if a woman cuts or wears her hair in such a way that it becomes difficult to figure out the sex; then glory is gone. Long hair isn't so much defined by the inches, but rather by the fact that the female hair displays who she is. Some women cannot grow hair that reaches down to the shoulders, yet they keep their hair in such a way that female glory is still intact.

Evil Doers Should Be Afraid of Death

5/21/2006

This is only for people who believe the Bible to be God's word.

Many criminals claim to have no fear of death. They carry guns and use them and also are blown away themselves at times. But guess what? Satan has these thugs fooled! They are evil human beings and every child of the devil should be afraid to die. The reason is because after death only the Judgment Day awaits (Hebrews 9:27). The evil doers will have to answer for all their deeds done, and nothing will be forgotten or hidden (Ecclesiastes 12:14; Psalm 9:17; Revelation 20:12–15).

Now imagine that you have been killed by a motorist while trying to car-jack his auto. Your last deed in life was attempted auto theft! My friend, you will be doomed to the burning fires of hell for all eternity (Mark 9:43–48). The last act speaks volumes of where a person is going to spend eternity; therefore make sure it is the right act! Death is no picnic for those who don't know God (Isaiah 48:22; Revelation 14:13). It is the final stamp on a person's life and there is no change after death (Eccl. 11:3). If one dies in his sins, he will not spend eternity with God (John 8:21). Yes, all thugs are stupid! They have chosen a life that will get them a first class seat in the hottest fire imaginable, and they don't have sense enough to realize it! Evil doers should be afraid to die because unrighteous souls won't enter heaven, and if they aren't going to be in heaven, they will be in hell (1 Corinthians 6:9–10; Galatians 5:19–21). And chances are their homies will be there with them, but they won't be having a good time "chillin" or "kicking it." You know, I better take back the "kicking it" part—they will be "kicking it" but not for relaxation but for pain.

What Do You Believe?

5/14/2006

This is only for people who believe the Bible to be God's word.

What do you believe religiously? Do you have scriptures to substantiate your beliefs? Here are some of the things we teach and the scriptures we believe that authorize them.
  • Divorce can only be permitted because of fornication, in which the innocent person puts away the guilty (Matthew 19:9).
  • No man can be a pope or head of the church (Colossians 1:18).
  • God only is to be called reverend (Psalm 111:9)
  • Jesus built only one church (Matthew 16:18).
  • All non-members of the true church will be lost (Matthew 15:13–14).
  • One must be immersed in water for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38).
  • A woman cannot be the preacher of a church (1 Corinthians 14:34).
  • On Judgment Day this earth and works will be burned up (2 Peter 3:10).
  • The Sabbath Day was the seventh day of the week (Saturday) and that day was for the Jews who lived under the Law of Moses (Exodus 20:8, Deuteronomy 5:15; Ex. 31:13–17).

Churches must teach the truth and cannot add to that truth with creed books and commandments of men (Mark 7:7). If you wish to study the Bible, we welcome your request.
