The Bible Isn't A Threat to Your Life

How shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed to the Word of Almighty God (Psalm 119:9).

All across our land, young men are making the headlines for being shot dead or put in jail. It seems the way of crime is very attractive to them, and that is a shame because without repentance they will spend eternity in Hell. Some are too far gone, and they will suffer the consequences of a wasteful life. There is hope for others, however (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12; Jude 17-23). As the Psalmist wrote, a young man can get his life on the right track by obeying the word of God (1 Corinthians 15:1-2; Hebrews 5:9).

Satan has poisoned the minds of men to believe that the Bible will cause them harm (2 Cor. 4:3-4). But the truth is, living a life without Bible teaching is where the harm comes. The Bible teaches that we should be a good citizen, be responsible, have a job, not have babies out of wedlock, that we should not sell drugs or doing other illegal activities, not have gun battles, etc. How is this a threat to a person unless that person wants to do evil?
