The Instructions Are Clear

"Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your hearts to the Lord," Ephesians 5:19 KJV.

From the scripture we learn that the praise offered to the Lord is to be done by songs which teach of His glory and greatness. We also learn those songs are to sung by all in the service, and not by a choir or soloist. By looking at the rest of the verse, we see the music is made with the human heart and not instrumental and by that I mean on a piano, guitars, etc.

The instructions here are clear and easy to do, but it will depend upon the attitude of the people. In the past, God gave His orders on things and man always seems to find a way not to do what the Lord commanded (1 Samuel 15:10-11; Matthew 7:21-22; Romans 10:20-21).
