Marriage is a divine union, formed by the Lord Himself in the garden of Eden and within this union God placed male and female and gave His blessings and told them to populate the earth (Genesis 1:26-31, 2:18-25, 3:13-24).
Marriage is like the death, it is beyond man’s reach and he cannot change it. The purpose of it, the persons within it, the ’till death commitment, the in sickness and in health commitment. And though man may tinker around and convince himself that he can change it, man will be surprised when standing before Jesus Christ on the Day of Judgment (Proverbs 14:12). The word of God clearly said, “What God has joined together, let not man put asunder” (Matthew 19:4-6). Hope to hear from you or see you at the services. “Ford trucks are built tough” said the commercial, and we can understand what Ford Motor Company is saying. But what would one do if they met someone who said that Ford trucks have no creator? The person simply believes that trucks come from nothing. What could be said to prove that person wrong? Do the design features of a truck show evidence of a creator? What about the airbag? Four wheel drive? Tilt steering? GPS? AM/FM/CD stereo? etc? Truth is yes—all these functions are the work of a mind that put them into motion, and that means there is a creator.
Now what about a more sophisticated thing like a human being? King David took one look at himself and declared “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14; Genesis 2:7). David didn’t have the knowledge of the human body like we do today, yet he knew that the body was the most complex working function on earth. If we can see a creator in the design of other things, why not in the creation of man? When one sees a pothole that has been filled, that is evidence of a creator for the repair of the pothole. The repair didn’t come out of nothing. So to question the existence of God is to close the eyes to the work of God’s hands, which can be clearly seen (Romans 1:19-22; Psalm 14:1, 19:1-4, 102:24-28, 104:1-5). Hope to hear from you or see you at the services. There has been a lot of scandals involving people in the public eye, and the exposure of some of these scandals has destroyed the persons involved and brought a lot of shame to their families. From movie stars to athletes, from politicians to preachers, from news people to aunts and uncles; there are enough scandals to make a ladder to the moon. Strangely these scandals continue rather than decrease, considering that many people are getting caught.
So why do people continue to do these things? (For example, treasurers looting the bank accounts of organizations they serve / school teachers having sex with students, etc) I’ll tell you why; people think they won’t get caught! Satan has told people that “no one will see.” But this is wrong, and I mean dead wrong! First of all, God sees (Psalm 94:7-11). Next, God said a person will reap what he sows (Proverbs 11:5). God also informed us that ‘sin will find a person out’ (Numbers 32:23). In addition, God will expose the hidden deed to all when we stand to be judged on the last day (Ecclesiastes 12:14; Hebrews 4:13; 1 Corinthians 4:5). So man must refrain himself from getting involved with shady under-the-cover things. For we have a Creator to answer to (2 Cor. 5:10). Hope to hear from you or see you at the services. All adults have been teenagers, therefore they have walked in teenage shoes. And if adults have raised teenagers, they know how teenagers act. Therefore, to all teens let me say this; “listen to those who have been where you are now.” If your parents are wise, caring role models, you need to listen to them. Many teens are going though the phrase where they think they know everything, and their parents are embarrassing to them. Well I got news—the old heads thought the same way when they were young, and many of them suffered because of it. So they are trying to spare you the sorrow (Galatians 6:7; Luke 15:17-19; Proverbs 22:3).
Listen to the voices that tell you to reject peer pressure, sex, drinking, drugs, not going to school, misbehaving in school, neighborhood gangs, flash mobs. etc. If others are jumping on the band wagon to do evil, you stand up for what is right. Respect your elders and develop interest in God by starting to go to church (John 4:24). Think about what I’m saying because it is right (Prov. 1:2-4, 4:1-27, 10:1, 17:25, 19:20, 20:1).
