If I may give some words of advice to a young man or woman just starting their lives; this is what I say. “Remember your Creator while in the days of your youth.”Ecclesiastes 12:1-7. Many give their best years to Satan and their weaker years to the Lord and that ought not be. With their bodies broken down with aging and sinful living, there will be every little they can do for the Lord.
“Listen to the wise people who have travelled the road before you.” These people aren’t trying to cramp your style, instead they are warning you of the dangers on the road ahead and hoping to spare you grief. Proverbs 6:20-35. Life is good but it is also unpredictable and who couldn’t benefit from help with an uncertain road.
“Establish yourself personally and financially.” Learn responsibility, maturity, become self dependent, leave your parents and stand on your own merit, become a strong man or woman capable of taking care of your own business (Ephesians 4:28; 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12). Devote yourself completely to this goal and don’t allow other things to happen so that you are taken off course and delayed or prevented from reaching your goal. And having children is one of the top reasons many young people get messed up. They aren’t ready for a family, yet they find themselves with a child. Children are to be born in the married household according to the word of God (1 Timothy 5:14).
Wait until marriage to have your children and make sure that you are 100 percent stable and ready in all aspects for marriage and life in general.
Hope to hear from you or see you at the services.
