I’m happy because God allowed His Son to die for my sins and to cleanse me with His blood in the waters of baptism. I’m happy because I don’t have to worry about something stupid that I might have done 30 years ago, being brought up against me at the Judgment Throne. I’m happy because the bible teaches how to live in this life and avoid pit falls and other traps along the way. That knowledge has saved me from a lot of cuts and bruises which others who don’t serve God have endured.
I’m happy because I might not be rich with cash, but I have something greater than cash and that is the promise of Christ, that He will not allow more upon me than I can bear, and even if I’m tested, He is right there seeing me though it all.
I’m happy because righteous upholds the world; and if there wasn’t any righteous people on the earth, there would be no need for God to allow it to continue. But the earth goes on and that’s because of the saints who are now and those who will come later. I’m happy to be one of the pillars upon which the existence of the world stands.
I’m happy because I have a message which I can share with anyone who wants to feel better about themselves. I will share that message if the listener will be willing to hear.
I’m happy and you can be too. Phil 3.3 Phil 4.4.
Jobs are in existence because there is a need. Many jobs need workers but cannot get them and that is very troubling. The first job created was by God; He gave the job of gardener to Adam. Gen 2.15.
To farther ensure that man would get out of bed and go to work, God decreed that if a person won’t work, that person should not eat. 2. Thess 3.10.
No one should look down on another person because of his job. It could be pig feeder; pigs got to eat you know. Luke 15.15. A tent maker, people in the woods need shelter. Acts 18.3. A shepherd; for sheep cannot wander in the fields alone, a wolf or bear might come. Gen 46.31-34. Gen 47.5-6. 1 Sam 17.33-36.
There are all kinds of jobs with different operations because different operations makes the world go around. Don’t look down on or insult a person because of their job. If the work is honest, it is not
to be mocked. Eph 4.28. Pro 12.11
The Bible which is the everlasting word of God was not given to please men it was given to show men how they can please God. Since the holy word is eternal those words have been crafted to be relevant until the world comes to an end. Matthews 24.35.
There is no need to upgrade this great book for it is suited for our current times Proverbs 30.6 When a person reads the words of the Bible that person is reading about the things that God wants to see from his creation and the phrase; “ it's 2022 and the Bible is old fashioned” are false statements.
The Bible is not out of touch and the Bible needs no upgrade because the Bible is perfect. James The problem, man is nowhere close to being what God wants him to be. But that can be easily fixed if man would simply follow the words of God.
In closing, the Bible are the words which God directs and the instructions for men of all time. 1 Peter 1.22-25.
During world war II a soldier in the south Pacific was shot down by enemy planes but was able to swim to the nearest island. Once arriving there, he was in total shock to find that the natives
welcomed him and showed him great kindness. After being there for two days, he was invited to the home of the high chief for dinner. When the chief gave thanks for the meal and quoted some bible verses, the soldier cursed and told everyone at the table that he didn’t believe in the bible!
The chief looked at the man and said, for your sake, you better be thankful that we believed when evangelists came here and taught us about it being the word of God. Because if we haven’t, you would have been cooked for our dinner the first night you landed here.
The bible is the word of God, and it will change lives for the better if people will accept it. We urge all to do so and allow it to lead you from the darkness to the wonderful light. Psa 119.105. Psa 19.7.
The guy said, “I know I'm going to hell!” I have no reason to doubt him, I'm pretty sure that's where he will end up. However, it troubles me. Hell is a place of terrible pain caused by everlasting fire. Matt 3.12. Matt 5.22. Matt 7.13 Matt 13.40-42. Matt 22.13. Matt 23.33. Mark 9.43-48.
Shouldn't one change course if he knows he is going there? For example, if you know piranha are in the lake; why would you go swimming there?
For those who don’t want to go to hell; God has a plan, it's called the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel is the power of God for salvation if you conform to the message. Rom 1.16. 1 Cor 15.1-4.
People who will be saved from hell are those who allow themselves to be taught about Jesus offering of Himself for their sins. John 6.45. John 3.14-18. Acts 8.5-14.
We can teach you about the horrors of hell and we can teach you the beauty of heaven and it is our hope that once you see the beauty of heaven you will decide not to go to hell and that you will decide to go to heaven. Let us have a bible study on salvation.
