This is only for people who believe the Bible to be God's word.
Putting 100 percent effort into relationships is the only way they will last; whether it be marriage, friendship, a job or whatever. In Romans 12:18, the Bible teaches "that if possible, exist in peace with all." Such a scripture affirms the reality of going the extra mile in order to co-exist with others and to make people around us better. In 1 Corinthians 9:19–22, the Bible speaks of the Apostle Paul's ability to work with others on their level and to do so very well. In Luke 22:32, Jesus told Peter, "strengthen thy brethren," which definitely means to make them better. That is how relationships work and last, the people in relationships must be concerned about the well being of the other people who are in the relationship too (John 8:29; John 15:14; 1 John 3:16–18; Hebrews 10:24; Heb. 12:12–16; Galatians 6:2; Ephesians 5:25; Titus 2:4–5; Heb. 13:17, Eph. 6:5–9).
Take the Bible information and use it as you meet and form bonds with others. If something causes the relationship to go bad, don't let it be your fault and if you follow the word of God, it sure won't be.
