Don't Get Upset When You're Invited to Church

This is only for people who believe the Bible to be God's word.

I have a hard time understanding why some people get so bent out of shape when we invite them to church. Going to church isn't a bad thing, yet some huff and puff and act like a bottle of skunk musk has been sprayed on them. There are far more grave matters that should spark our anger (like the soldiers getting killed in Iraq) and here are these people blowing a fuse because someone pointed out their need for Christ.

Wow! Such conduct just proves how selfish, evil, apathic, and materialistic a lot of people are. Be assured of this: man can either worship God now or bow before Him on Judgment Day and then be sent to hell for refusing to acknowledge Him while in this life. The choice is left up to man, but God will be the one to have the last say (2 Corinthians 5:10; Romans 14:9–12; Matthew 25:1–46; Hebrews 4:13; Ecclesiastes 12:13–14).
