This is only for people who believe the Bible to be God's word.
We are all “God's Children” in the sense that we are His creation (Genesis 1:26-27; Acts 17:24-28; Hebrews 12:9). On another note, we are all “God's children” in the sense that we have a relationship with Him because we obey His word and live by His commandments daily (Matthew 5:9, Luke 20:35-36; Romans 9:25-26; Galatians 3:26-29; Ephesians 1:4-5; Hebrews 2:13, John 15:14; John 11:52; Eph. 5:1-6).
But in no way are we “children of God” in every sense. If we aren't living in accordance with the law of God, we are not His children; instead, we are the “children of Satan,” (Eph. 2:2-3; 1 John 3:8-10; John 8:39-44). Those who are living in violation of the word of God are in sin; and by dwelling in sin, there can be no fellowship with God (2 John 9; Isaiah 59:1-14). Seems like every so often we hear someone say, “we are all God's children.” Well in the creation sense we sure are, but not in the spiritual sense.
Hope to hear from you or see you at the services.
