Don't Sin Against Your Child

There are infants, young children, teenagers, and young adults who have been abandoned by parents and left to grow up without family. That is a hideous thing to do to one’s own seed (1 Timothy 5:8). It is terrible to imagine an irresponsible person bringing a child into the world and fleeing, claiming that his style has been cramped. Youngsters are then faced with foster homes or city agencies where they will live and have employees as the ones that they come home to after school. In Philadelphia this has happened too many times with no end in sight. To that person about to give birth, don’t abandon that child! That innocent one is your responsibility, and you will answer to God.

Be a man. Be a woman. Take care of that child and provide a home for him! To those who have already abandon children, repent! Go back get those children and do the right thing! And finally, wait until you get married to have children, plan your family. So take care of business and quit sinning against children, causing them to face lives without a home or parents (Genesis 42:22).
