Religious division is something most don’t want to talk about; but it is fact that people are divided on things concerning God.   Man isn’t divided because the bible is the problem; the bible is the word of Almighty God and nothing in this great book comes up short. Isa 55:11. Jer 23:29. 1 Pt 1:23-25.  Heb 4:12. 1 Cor 14.33

Division exists because of men and it will continue as long as men act the way they do.
1 Cor 1:10. 2 Cor 13:11.  1 Tim 1:3-4.  1 Tim 6:3-5.  Mk 7:7.

But all the differences in churches and religious practices can be made right if proper procedure is put into action.  I’m not talking about so-called unity forums where everyone comes together and agrees on some point then leave still being members of different churches.

I’m talking about men forsaking their creed books, their thoughts and what others have told them and just follow the bible.  If men will do so man made doctrine will disappear.

Someone will have to admit being wrong and that isn’t a bad thing; it is the beginning for walking in truth.

When looking around certain areas you will see neighborhoods covered with trash, abandon
cars, mattresses, stoves, furniture, boxes, garbage, paper, etc.

This trash didn’t just fall from the sky; it was placed there by people.  I ‘m talking about people
who have no sense of pride, decency, respect for others or the laws which prohibit dumping.

These are people to whom laws mean nothing.  They are like animals, caring about nothing but
their own agenda.     And if that agenda is served by having their dog leave waste in front of
your house; so be it.  Pro 2:12-15.

Attitudes like this is no way for humans to live.  Man must answer to God; so why go before
Him with a resume of evil works?    2 Cor 5:10.

Man must learn what laws he is obligated to and obey those laws. 1 Peter 2:13-17.   Man needs
to start showing respect by doing whatever he can not to offend or endanger others.  Pro 3:29.     We must make people better by our encounters with them.

The man said, come visit me because every time you do so, you are coming to my funeral.
He further stated, I don't want flowers when I'm dead, I don't want people crying over me when
I'm dead. I don't want people gathering somewhere in a cafeteria having a dinner in my honor.
I want people to take me out to eat and honor me right now.  I want people to buy gifts for me
now. Feel sorry and cry with me now as I battle the hardships of life.  I don’t want people to
come and view my dead body in a coffin.  I want people to visit with me and look me in the face
while I’m alive.

I don't want a person in a church talking all kinds of things that aren't true about me.
I want people to praise me now and have long conversations with me while I'm alive.
Because being in a church saying things about a deceased person which no one can verify,
does no good.   Yes, my funeral is right now while I'm alive and everyone who comes to see me,calls me on the phone and continues other kinds of regular contact with me is coming to my funeral as they do those things.

So when I die, don’t concern yourselves with a funeral parlor, just put me in the ground.

I cannot say this writer doesn’t have a point; because he does.  Love and honor people while they
can know and see it.  Rom 12.9-18.        (James Baker minister of the mt airy church of Christ)

Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another
and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10.25
This verse is the reason that you often see the faithful going to church.
Depending on the schedule, you may see them going every Sunday and midweek
bible classes along with other gatherings that might be on the church calendar.
They believe the bible and they want to make sure they support the work of the local church.
They might be your neighbors, coworkers, friends, etc.
If you don’t attend church at all or do so sparely, I would like you to consider what the bible teaches in Hebrews 10.25.   I suppose there are things you do regularly because everybody has something that they do.  But without naming all the things which people may do, let us just say that people do what they do because they believe in it.

A person walking through a cemetery came upon a headstone with the following inscription.

Remember friend as you pass by. As you are now, so once was I.  And as I am now,
you soon shall be, so prepare to die and follow me.

That person left and returned with a black crayon and added these words on the tombstone.

To follow you I'm not content, until I know which way you went.

Beloved do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God.
3rd John 11

As you see, heaven or hell awaits men. If you follow, make sure your leader is taking you to the right place. Matt 15:13.   Thumbs up to the quick-thinking person who read the headstone.
