A group of people decided they didn’t want to follow Jesus anymore, so they left.
Jesus asked His remaining followers; “will you also go away?”
Peter said, “Lord to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”  John 6.64-69.
Peter knew the people who quit had made a huge mistake. Hebrews 10. 38-39.
They may have thought that they were unloading a burden; but they picked one up.
2 Peter 3.20-22.    Because without Christ, you can't have real success in life so
the faithful feel great because of devotion to the word of God.  They don't worry
or try to solve things. Hebrews 13.5-6.  They use prayer to communicate with God
and allow Him to navigate life's ups and downs. John 14.1.  God promised His followers
that He would not allow them to be put to a position that is beyond their ability to
withstand. 1 Corinthians 10.13.  But when bad things do happen, God has assured
His followers that everything works toward their best interests. Romans 8.28.
Such is the comfort of the faithful and you can be too. Matthew 11.28-30.

The home is the source of many problems in America. The home is a problem because we have  immature males and females, having babies and they have no education, job, or don't even know how to do the laundry without help. As you look throughout cities you see these people having babies with many of the fathers absent from the scene.

A family is supposed to be started because two married people want to have children and they train the children in the way of the Lord. Eph 6.1-4.  Col 3.20.  Pro 2.1-22.  Pro 10.1

This is not being done and that is why the problems with youngsters continue.

Going forward, this is what must happen.  #1, Get married. #2 Have children. #3 Don’t forsake, nor fail to train or discipline the children. # 4, Take care of all their needs.    If parents do so, the children wouldn’t go to school hungry nor would they act up, because the parents would be involved in every aspect of that child's life.    We must get back to that.

In this closing. Immature unmarried people; quit having babies!   Married people; know the role the Lord expects from you.  He will punish you if you don’t live up to it. Genesis 42.22.

The greatest thing we can do is study the bible which is the word of Almighty God.
Just think about it; we learn the mind of the Creator and what He wants us to do to
improve our lives.  And it doesn’t end there; we also learn how we can go to heaven
and spend eternality in His presence.    This is great news, and no one should deprive
themselves of the opportunity.

We also are warned about the danger of a burning Hell and the temptations which
drown men in damnation.  I want to encourage you to read the New Testament.
You can start with the gospel of Matthew; where you will learn about Jesus coming
to earth and dying on the cross for the sins of men.

Do try it and contact us, let us know what you learn or if you have questions.
Let all who hear me, start reading.

I cannot figure out what type of person the prophet Jonah was. When he decided to obey
God and preach that Nineveh will be destroyed in 40 days; the people changed their ways
after listening to him.
The king gave instructions for everybody to pray with no eating or
drinking by man or beast.   Everyone complied and there was great mourning throughout
the land.

When God saw that the people repented; He decided not to destroy the city of Nineveh.

But Jonah wanted to see the city go up in flames and he got very angry when the
people repented.  Yes, Jonah got angry; he wanted to see the people die. What kind of
guy was that?  A preacher should be glad to get a positive response to his teaching.
But Jonah didn’t.
Jonah chapters 3 and 4.
