Whoever mocks poor people, shows disrespect toward the Creator and he that is happy about the calamities of others, shall not escape being punished.  Proverbs 17.5
Therefore, thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast. And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the Lord when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.  Ezekiel 25.16-17

I have a hard time understanding why anyone would want to be rude towards people who are having a hard time.  But such people exist.   Man needs to learn that one will reap what is sown.  Proverbs 26.27.  If you can't do anything to help people who are down and out, above all, don't make fun of them or ridicule them.       It is best to say nothing at all.

‘Touch not, taste not, handle not.’  Colossian 2.20-22.
“Let every wearing the name of Christ depart from evil.”
2 Timothy 2.19-22.

These are words to live by and that is what members of the
Lord’s church need to do in these times.   Romans 12.1-2.

There is a lot of talk about transgender rights. Abortion on demand.
Homosexual marriage. Marijuana smoking. Drinking liquor.
Unmarried people living together as married people. etc

It doesn’t matter if all this is legal according to the law of the land.
A member of the church doesn’t have to partake of any of it nor believe in it.
Just say no and remain with what is authorized by the word of the Lord.  Acts 5.29.
 Acts 4.19

In Acts 19:17-20, we read of people being taught that belief in the stars, fortune tellers
and other mystic arts is wrong.

Those things are wrong because they take man away from faith in the Creator and causes
men to have faith in something else. Heb 11:6   The irony is, stars have no intelligence and
cannot make good things happen for people, they are simply heavenly objects which God
created to give light upon the earth. Gen 1:14-18.   In verse 19, we read that the people
burnt their books to assure that those magical deeds would not be practiced again

A person is going to have to acknowledge the Lord sooner or later; and it is fact the sooner, the better. Death and Judgment is coming for each soul. Hebrews 9.27.  Being judged for deeds done is unavoidable.  2 Corinthians 5.10    It’s destiny; and preparation is essential. John 8.21.
For non-believers, they will face the biggest shock of realization.  That they were wrong to deny the existence of the Supreme One who dwells beyond men.  1Timothy 6.16. For those who did believe, but did nothing to get ready, they will have all eternity to regret their decision. Luke 12.35-48.
Luke 13.24-28. Mark 13.32-37. 2 Thessalonians 1.6-10. Revelations 21.6-8

By reading with us today, you can get ready. First, one must realize sin and the importance of getting rid of it so the relationship with Christ can begin.Romans 6.17. 1 Peter 1.18-19.  Titus 3.3-7.
You will have to be baptized, immersed in water for the forgiveness of sins, thereby washing away the sin which caused men to become the enemy of Christ.  Acts 22.16. Acts 2.38. Romans 6.1-17.  Hebrews 10.22. 1 Peter 3.21. Acts 8.26-40.
