Santa Claus is coming to town. Have you ever seen him? Wait a second, you say you haven't seen him?
How old are you? Sixty-nine years old? And you have never seen Santa-Claus right? Do you think you'll ever see him? Oh, it's just a myth for children; is that what you're saying? Then there is no such thing as Santa Claus, it's people saying that he exists and they are the ones buying the gifts. People must decide if they want their children to believe such a story. I think it would be better if they just tell their children your mother and your father are going to buy you some gifts for December the 25th, and you can thank us afterwards. I'm not going to talk about Santa because I don't want to teach you a lie. Afterwards the parents can sit down with their children and read Eph 4.25 “Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour for we are members one of another.”

We are now in what is called the holiday season. Over the weeks many
have enjoyed very good meals and happy times with family and friends. It’s amazing how man can practice kindness and sharing during the season. Such virtue proves there is still hope for mankind. But it would be better if this conduct existed though out the year. Kindness doesn’t cost a dime, and it certainly creates the character that God intended for man to display. So why not give kindness a try? Why not give happiness a try? Just think for a moment; if we had more of both, there wouldn’t be all the problems that are hurting us. Heb 13:1-3. Col 3:12. Gal 6:10. Rom 12:17-18. Matt 7:12.
We can get rid of stress by saying no to projects that are too much for us. We must realize that our stress level shoots though the roof, when allowing others to overload us. The wise thing is to speak up and refuse to let men use us for dump trucks. Those people cannot know our limitations, so don't let them be our Judge. Make sure that relaxing time is left for yourself and above all, learn to trust in God. Matt 6:25-34. Luke 10:38-42. Phil 4:6. Eph 5:15-16. Matt 11.29. Mk 6.31. The man said that he doesn’t believe that God who is love, will send a person to eternal burning hell fire.
What evidence does he have that God wouldn’t do such a thing? Yes, it’s true that God is love, but God is also of justice. Jas 1.17. 1 John 1.9. Job 4.17. Isa 45.21. Acts 22.14. God will judge mankind according to their deeds which is based upon His word. Acts 17.31. Rev 20.12. God said if men fail to obey His word, their future will be in the lake of fire. 1 Thess 1.6-10. Matt 13.37-42. Matt 25.41-46. Rev 20.10-15. Mark 9.43-48. So according to the scripture, it is very clear that God is going to send men to a burning hell. I have no idea why some men would think differently than what the Bible has already told us. The best thing anyone can do is obey the Lord and you won’t have to worry about Hell. Pro 1.33. Can anyone provide Bible proof that the world is supposed to celebrate Christ's birthday? If you can produce the information that shows such in the Bible, then we will consider it truth. John 6.63. John 17.17. If you cannot produce information from the Bible; we will have to conclude that it is the doctrine of men. The doctrine of men does not come from scripture, it comes from the minds of men and it is taught throughout the world. Where is the authority for Dec 25th to be considered the birth of Christ? It's certainly not in the Bible. So once again we see the doctrine of men creating things and pushing it as Bible. Now for those of you who will read this and say ‘oh they're just being a Scrooge’. No, we're not being a Scrooge. We're just asking a question everyone should be concerned about. I am not talking about the commercial aspect of Christmas, the lights the presents, the food, time off from your job, etc. I am talking about the religious aspect of this holiday as being a celebration of the birth of Christ. Where is it in the Bible? If anyone can provide biblical information, we will conclude that it is the word of God. If people cannot meet this request; we will have to conclude it as the doctrine of men. Mark 7.7 The Lord and Satan are both looking for people to fill vacant ranks. Requirements are as
follows. With the Lord, repentance is required. Repentance means stopping things and starting new things. A person must be ready to surrender to the will of Christ and live as His word commands. Payment will come at some date in the future and will be a lump sum of a place called Heaven, where eternal life and everlasting happiness will reign supreme. Luke 13.3. Matt 3.8 Mk 10.28-30. 2 Tim 4.7-8. John14.1-2. With Satan, repentance isn’t required. One has the choice to live life in any manner desired. One doesn’t have to take any commands, just live anyway you want, say whatever you want, do whatever you want and believe as you want. Payment will come at some date in the future, it will be a lump sum of a place called Hell. The payment of Hell will be eternal separation from God into a place of horror and darkness, where people will be in pain and hopelessness. Matt 25.41-46. Matt 13.42-43 Thess 1. 7-10. Which position have you applied for? A man of faith running for public office is often targeted with questions pertaining to his beliefs and how such will effect his job performance. First, anyone running for public office would be insane to refuse help from God. 1 Kings 9:2-7. But understand this, God is going to help those who are faithful to Him. Psa 34:8-17. If a President wants help from God, he must be doing what is pleasing to God. There is no way, God will bless a President who is passing laws that conflict with His word. Pro 14:34. Pro 11:11 Psa 33:10-22. 1 Kings 15:25-26. 1 Kings 16:29-34.
If homosexuality, abortion, and state lotteries are contrary to the laws of God; then no person of faith can be in approval of such. Because a man of faith is to live what he knows is right in the eyes of God. 2 Chr 26:3-5. The President must have the best interest of the nation in mind if he vetoes bills that establish sinful practices. 2 Kings 18:1-8. Our nation is supposed to be a Christian nation, founded upon religious principles. So why do we get angry and suspicious of people with morals? Could it be most of us have no morals and we are threaten by those who do? Years ago the DA of this town spoke of preventing young children from becoming criminals by having classes in elementary school promoting good behavior, morals and responsibility. He felt it best to work with children while they are at a young ripe age, steering them in the path of right, before they get indoctrinated by ungodly parents, neighbors, or other evil people.
This man is correct is his assessment. However, it is a crying shame that so many parents, neighbors, and others who are daily with young ones, don’t set a good example. If a parent or some person does evil in the presence of a child, he will be influenced by the actions of those who commit the sin in his presence. The D A of a city, shouldn’t have to figure out ways to save the future children,. parents should be doing that and they will answer to God, as to why they didn’t. Eccl 12;1. Pro 22:6. Rom 14:12 Halloween is here again and for those who believe that Ghosts haunt the earth, their belief will become more intense. But such ought not be the case, it’s just another holiday day where people dress in costumes and give candy. However, man needs guidance, something to show him direction and shine light on the issues which confront. So that is where the Bible helps, and people can better themselves by having faith in the word. Heb 11:6. Psa 19:8-10. Mk 9:21-23. Psa 119:105.
The scriptures are God’s speech and He teaches that the dead don’t spook the living. 2 Tim 3:14-17. Eccl 9:4-6:10. Job 7:1-10. Job 10:18-22 . Psa 103:13-16. 2 Sam 12:22-23. At death the spirit of man is removed from earth and taken to Hades to waitJudgement. Jas 2:26. Heb 9:27. Psa 90:10. Lk 24:5. Lk 22:42-43. Acts 2:29-32. Lk 16:19-31. Ignorance of what the Bible teaches, has lead many to believe things; and a highly creative imagination has cause many to think they hear and see things. Acts 17:22-27. But if one believes the word of the Lord, he will be secure. Pro 1:29-33. Psa 34:10. 1 Pt 2:2-6. Prior to the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70, Jesus said that the people would hear rumors of wars and the actual existence of wars. Matthews 24.6. This was one of the signs, that the end for Jerusalem was approaching.
I suppose it was very hard for the people who lived back then to constantly see wars taking place or hear about other potential wars. Let us now focus on 2023. We have two wars going on, One in Ukraine and the other in Israel, This concerns the whole world and certainly the faithful are looking at this and praying to God. Let us not forget this is God's world, He is still in charge even though it may not seem so. God can intervene anytime and ultimately He will. This is a plea for the faithful to keep asking God to do something about the evil that is taking place on His earth. We may not know how he's going to do it but he certainly is capable of doing whatever he wants. Prayer is the only thing that can get the faithful through these times. if you are not a person who believes in what the scriptures teach; you have no hope of anything. It is best for you to develop an interest in God before it's too late. John 8.21 |
