A man and woman get married and then plan to have children.
By planning, the financial and emotional ability will be present in both,
thereby making child rearing a joy and not a hardship.

Because they want to be a good example, they aren’t control by liquor
and don’t use drugs.  When it comes to education, the parents turn the tv off
and help the children do homework. This couple also attend parent teacher meetings.

Because children are in the house, they recognize that using profanity will not set
a good example for their children to follow. Good parents don’t fight in front of the
children or bear grudges against each other.  Good parents won’t badmouth each
other to their children.

If you have children at home, these are a few good points to consider.  Pro 22.6.

The city of Philadelphia has a woman slated to become the next mayor. Many people are praising her and saying that she is the answer to the city's problems.  I don’t want to degrade this woman and I hope if she is elected mayor; that she does well.

But there is a bigger picture here and that is human behavior. This city along with many communities is suffering because people aren’t living right.  People don't go to church and the bible is mocked and forgotten. The bible needs to be followed by men and women everywhere. The commandments do not steal, don’t murder, don’t lie, cheat, respect your neighbors, help the weak, be respectful of others, show good behavior in the schools and in the streets. etc   All these things can be learned by studying the Bible and going to church.

No person elected as mayor is going to save us from ourselves.   We must save ourselves by repenting and embracing the word of the Lord.   Each person must do so now, before its too late.

Religious division is something most don’t want to talk about.
However, it is a fact that people are divided on things concerning God.
Man isn’t divided because the bible is the problem.  The bible is the word
of Almighty God and nothing in this great book comes up short. Isa 55:11.
Jer 23:29. 1 Pt 1:23-25. Heb 4:12.

Division exists because of men and it will continue as long as men do. 1 Cor 1:10.
2 Cor 13:11.1 Tim 1:3-4.1 Tim 6:3-5. Mk 7:7. But all the different religious practices
can be made right if the proper procedure is put into action.  I’m not talking about
so-called unity forums where everyone comes together and agrees on some points
then leave still being members of differentchurches. I’m talking about all men forsaking
their creed books, their ownthoughts and what others have told them, never holding
those views again and just allowing the bible be the guide.
Gal 1:8-9.  2 John 8-11.

Jesus said, “he that loves father or mother, more than me isn’t worthy of me.” Meaning if family comes before Him, we cannot serve Him. Matt 10.37.  Some when speaking about a son or daughter who is involved in something that is wrong; will say, “I love and support my child unconditionally.”

One should love his child, however if the child is involved in something that will bring damnation; how can you say you love them and not correct them?  Correcting children isn’t hate; correction is love. Jude 22-23.  Heb 12.9

A man came to the Lord with a question and Jesus looked upon him in a loving way and said, “there's one thing that you lack, sell all your possessions, take up your cross and follow me.
Mk 10.17-22

The Lord corrected the man, but that rebuke was for his own good.  Let us rebuke wrong; it will save someone. Jas 5.19-20

If you think you have plenty of time on earth, and you will keep having a good life year after year
with no interruption in your happy existence; you are going to be sadly mistaken.   Luke 12:16-20.
No one knows tomorrow; our lives can be changed forever in the twinkling of an eye.  James 4:13-14.
That is why insurance exists, to save us from the unexpected and many people are smart enough to
buy it.  We also know that some people aren’t very smart, they go around without insurance and pay
a heavy price when losses occur. That is why salvation comes into this conversation.
Being a child of God is a major help when we face the challenges of life.     We can deal with hardship
by believing that Jesus Christ will see us though, not allowing more than we can stand to happen.
Romans 8:28. 1 Corinthians 10:13. Psalms 121:7 I would like to implore you to stop living your life
without insurance for the soul.  All will die and stand before the Judge and give account for the life lived.
2 Cor 5:10. You must have salvation insurance to stand successfully before Him. Would you like to know more about the gospel of Christ which puts men in a relationship with God and sets them free from sin?  Romans 6:1-18

A few years ago; a famous man got into trouble because of his involvement in extramarital affairs.
A female claimed he raped her, but he denied it.  Charges were filed, there was a trial, jail time
was served. Some people were happy, some weren’t.   Situations like this should serve as an example for the choices that we make.  By seeing what happen here, it should help us not to repeat the same mistakes.   I don’t know if the man in question was guilty of all the things of which he was
accursed, but one thing he certainly was guilty of was the extramarital affairs.
Since he made the choice to put himself into that realm; he opened the door for the unfortunate things of which he suffered.  Pro 5:15-23.  Pro 6:24-35.

The lesson for us is not to get involved in adultery, because one cannot win!  That sin will find us out.   Gal 6:7.    Numbers 32:23. Gen 39:9. 2 Samuel chapters 11-12.

In the city of Philadelphia there are contentions not to prosecute if stolen merchandise is less
than $500.00. It’s said that such are summary offenses; whatever that means.

The word of the Lord teaches that when law and order isn’t enforced, evildoers are encouraged
to commit crimes. Eccl 8.11.  Because of what is going on; don’t expect shop lifting to go
down anytime soon in Philadelphia.

As far as the word of God is concern, it teaches for man not to steal.  No amount is specified,
it just teaches not to take what isn’t yours.   It could be $30.00 $100.00 or $5.00.  Don’t steal.
Matt 6.19. Matt 19.18. Mk 10.19. Lk 18.20. John 10.10 Rom 2.21. Rom 13.9. Eph 4.28.
Rev 9.21. MK 7.22 John 12.6.

Offenders need to face the consequences of their actions, no matter what the amount of the
stolen goods may be. Col 3.25.

The man said, I don’t smoke, drink, do drugs or fornicate.  His listeners stood there looking
at him like he was insane and finally after a few moments one of them said, what in the
world is wrong with you?

There is nothing wrong with me the man replied. But there is something wrong with you.
Those things that I don’t do are sinful things that the word of God makes perfectly clear.
There is nothing wrong with obeying the word of the Lord; but there is plenty wrong following
the world. 1 John 2.15-17.

Jesus is going to come back and judge this world and all the ungodly will have their part in the
Lake of fire. Jude 14-16. Rev 21.7-8.   But not me. I'm going to do what the Lord said and save
my soul. God said be holy because He is holy. 1 Pt 1.15-16. I'm just doing what the Lord said
and if that makes me different from all the other people in the world; so be it. Matt 5.13-16.

“Thou shalt not kill” “Thou shalt not steal” “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor”
“Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thou self.”

These are some of the ten commandments Moses gave the Israelites from Mount Sinai.
Exodus chapter 20.   Because of the contrary choices men have made; the world is suffering.

Imagine how quick evil would disappear if men would make choices that support these commandments. You know what I'm talking about, I'm pretty sure you've been listening to the news.

It is time for everyone to get a Bible, put their heads in the Bible and read it and start obeying it. It is with hope that this article will arouse a fire in someone to start doing just that.  These are your words for this week.

Do all you can to avoid borrowing money. I’m aware that borrowing is required for
major purchases: but I’m warning about money between friends. People co-sign for
purchases that they really cannot take responsibility for should the primary default.

Friends loan money and their buddies say, they will repay once “I get my income tax.”
With the passing of time, some borrowers seem to think a loan somehow, turns into a gift.
Some borrowers claim harassment when the lender is simply trying to get back his due
money.   Fighting, cursing, threatening, false actuations with all other kinds of
bad behavior develops and everything becomes a train wreck in court.

So be careful about lending and borrowing. Friends need to remain friends.  They shouldn’t
feel that they don’t have to pay back lenders they know or be slothful in doing so.

When borrowing or lending; get a written contract, (nothing personal, it’s just business)
and don’t get involve at all if you cannot afford the possible loss.   Luke 16:5-8.
1 Corinthians 6:7.   Proverbs 6:1-5.
