A hockey player on the Philadelphia Flyers refused to wear a pride night jersey and people
got upset.  Say what??   Say what??   What is wrong with people?   Leave the man alone.  
Don’t people realize that not everyone is going to agree with their missions?
A lot of people don’t agree with the message of the gospel, but we don’t get mad and start
hurling insults and name calling. People need to chill and respect other people decisions.
God isn’t forcing men to repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of sins. Acts 2.38   
God allows everyone make up their own mind.  Christ also said let the wheat and weeds grow together and on Judgement Day, He will show who was right and who was wrong. Matt 13.28-30.
 
If people want to champion a mission, they need to find out who is on their side and once that is decided, gather them all together and begin your crusade.   Not demand that everyone living in Philadelphia must wear a garment promoted by some group.
Let me give this example.  You live in Philadelphia and your employer said everyone who doesn’t wear a Dallas Cowboys jersey to work on a certain day, is an idiot and will be fired.
I ask those of you who are down on that hockey player, what would you do?
We cannot force our beliefs on others, for there are people who don’t agree and they have
​their reasons.
 
     

What would you do if today was your last day?  Some say they would live it up and not deny themselves any pleasure.  That isn’t a good idea.  If today is your last day; you need to think about where your soul will spend eternity. Acts 7.59-60.
 
As for enjoying the pleasures of this world, the bible teaches if a man gains the whole world and loses his soul, what can he give in exchange?  Matt 16.26. Luke 12.13-21.    The answer is nothing.
 
If the soul of a man isn’t right in the eyes of God when death occurs, that person has died in sin and is hell bound. John 8.21.
 
So, why are wasting time?  Obey the gospel of Christ by having your sins washed away in the watery grave of baptism. Act 22.16. Rom 6.1-16.
 
 
     
                 

Some churches teach that a person cannot eat certain foods and that some foods can only be
eaten on certain days. Like fish on Fridays and certain meals of so-called Holy days or holidays.
 
In the Old Testament the people of God were commanded to eat certain foods. Lev 11. 1-47.  
If we lived during that time, we would have to be aware of everything that enters our mouth.
Questions such as, is this legal for me to eat?  Should I be considering buying this item to eat? etc.   
 
But now, by the death of our Lord on the cross, He removed the Old testament and established
the new. We aren't under the Old Testament because that part of the Bible is no longer binding
on men.   Heb 8:6-13. II Cor 3:6. 
 
Since this is true, one may ask; why are churches limiting foods?  The New Testament said men
would teach false doctrine instructing people that they can’t eat foods which God has permitted,
​with the giving thanks. 1 Tim 4:1-5. So that is the reason why.
 
Read the bible and don’t place your hope in church leaders. Acts 17.11 
     
                 
                                                                         

​How can man cleanse his way?  How can man make his existence on earth count?
Man can do so by accepting the word of God into his life. Live like the scriptures teach and do the things that help and not destroy.  Strive to create a beautiful mindset which will enhance all the people.  2 Cor 7.1. Jas 4.8. Matt 23.26. 1 John 1.7-9. 
 
Though not perfect, a follower of Jesus is the light of the world, for his thoughts produces good deeds and good speech.  Rom 2.19. John 9.5. 1 Thess 5.5 
Neighbors, co-workers, friends and acquaintances will have nothing but good things to say.    And let me add that even if a person is lying about a righteous person, deep down their conscience will condemn them.  Tit 2.7-8.
 
There is no better existence on earth than a person following the word of the Lord.
Every move made will be made with the blessings of God.  It is a great life.
