Words of the week

What would you do if today was your last day?  Some say they would live it up and not deny themselves any pleasure.  That isn’t a good idea.  If today is your last day; you need to think about where your soul will spend eternity. Acts 7.59-60.
 
As for enjoying the pleasures of this world, the bible teaches if a man gains the whole world and loses his soul, what can he give in exchange?  Matt 16.26. Luke 12.13-21.    The answer is nothing.
 
If the soul of a man isn’t right in the eyes of God when death occurs, that person has died in sin and is hell bound. John 8.21.
 
So, why are wasting time?  Obey the gospel of Christ by having your sins washed away in the watery grave of baptism. Act 22.16. Rom 6.1-16.
