What Is Wrong with Our People?

One of the great problems to converting people from sin in our world today resides in the great influence of materialism, evolution, and sexual attitudes that are contrary to God’s instructions revealed to man by the Bible. To this concept I will continue in this article to show from the media, television, radio, theater, movies, and live shows that are ongoing in most large cities by groups of mostly non-Christian participants. It is my belief that this activity within the community is the evil influence that our children are imbibing, from ages 10-20 years of age. This is where our children are being conditioned to be like those that are living this hedonistic lifestyle.

Among the members of the congregations I have worked with for the past 50 years, I have seen this philosophical evil destroy families that at one time were all faithful Christians.

Consider This:

The first paragraph here describes a method of influencing our population that is working in other nations and has a firm grasp on our educational programs in America also. These evil and seductive influences are corrupting the Biblical teachings that for the first 200 years of our nation were firmly entrenched in our government {i.e. constitution} and also in our state and local political offices. The population has slowly been lulled into an unconscious condition and has not considered or insisted upon maintain the government standards that were set into our system of government in 1776. Yes, laws and attitudes among elected and appointed officials in government (local, state, and federal) have allowed sodomites and lesbian sympathizers influence laws and relationships that God clearly considers sinful and harmful to social and moral norms. These also reject openly the teaching of God via the Holy Scriptures—the Bible.

We must restudy our Bible so that we can present to others God’s attitude toward all forms of evil. Evil is not immaterial, evil is a way of life that is learned from early childhood. We must reeducate our people and bring them back to God’s Written Word (the Bible). Indeed, there must be another period of awakening in our country, a new and more direct approach in our school systems and in our elected official’s qualification. Perhaps we ought to give our best to teach others God’s rights and what God says in wrong, facts that are revealed clearly in His Word.

1. A proud look
2. A lying tongue
3. Hands that shed innocent blood
4. A heart that devises wickedness ?
5. Feet that be swift running to mischief
6. A false witness that speaks lies
7. Sowers of discord among brethren

Proverbs 6:12-19

A worthless man, a wicked man, Is he who practices falsehood with his mouth;
Who winked with his eyes, scrapes with his foot, Pointiest with his fingers.
Malice is in his heart, He devises evil at all times, He spreads strife.
therefore suddenly his destruction shall come, suddenly shall he be destroyed, and there is no remedy.

A Remedy?

Let us remember who created this universe ?

Gen. 1:1—In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth.

Let us remember that God created man

Gen. 1:26-27—And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created.

Let us remember that God made man with the ability to multiply ?

Let us remember that God made the woman for man’s helper and marriage partner ?

Gen. 2:18-24—And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Indeed

Let us return to moral thinking and acting. Let us turn again to the Book of God (i.e. the BIBLE) so that we might know anew that marriage is between a man and a woman as God teaches us from the beginning. See Gen. 2:22-24—And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

May we live morally, honestly, and reverently for the truths contained in the Bible—our life, our marriage, our association together with others, our honor and fidelity to God will aid us as we live life here in this world.

May We Never Forget God’s Promises

Matt. 11:28-30—Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

John 8:31-32—Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, If ye abide in my word, (then) are ye truly my disciples; 32 and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (ASV).

The apostle Paul understood a very important truth as he prepared to die ?

2 Tim. 4:6-8—For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
