Can men destroy the earth? No, man cannot destroy the earth.
That action will go to the Almighty who created it. Ex 20.11.
God said He would destroy the earth on Judgment Day with fire
which no one can comprehend. 2 Peter 3.10-13.
 
When God built the earth, he knew that men would do things
which threaten its existence. God set up the foundations of the earth
so that man cannot touch it. What that means is, it’s indestructible
as far as man is concerned. Eccl 1.4. Psa 104.5.
Psa 72.5. Psa 119.89-91.
 
So don't get excited or afraid when you hear someone like the
​President of Russia talking about destroying the earth with nuclear weapons. Laugh at him. No nation, regardless of its nukes, will be able to destroy this earth.  
 
Rest easy, let not your heart be troubled, God won’t allow a nuclear weapon to get the job done. Acts 17.31.
